Andrea created her dream job and started Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC in 2005. Her passion for animals started as a young girl. She and her family had many different dogs, cats and other pets throughout the years. She understands that pets are family members, so she makes sure her staff shares the same values. Andrea’s combined experience in the areas of animal care, customer service and administration make Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC a trusted company you can count on.

Kim

Kim has been a valuable part of Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers since 2009. She adores all animals but has a special love for dogs. She enjoys getting to know each pet and its unique personality. She also likes getting to know clients and helping them with whatever is needed. She loves that every day is an adventure and no two days are the same.

Kara

Kara shares a genuine passion for pets. She deeply understands the companionship that our furry friends offer and extends the same level of care and love to your pets as she does to her own. Kara has had a diverse career working as a teacher, social worker, and early intervention specialist for new parents of children with hearing loss. When she’s not helping others, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her loving family of six, including her two chihuahuas and “Boo Boo” the cat. Kara’s lifelong interest in animal care is evident in her interactions with your beloved pets. She will treat them with the same love and care that she gives to her own furry companions.

Lauren D.

Lauren has been a pet lover as long as she can remember. Growing up, her family had it all—dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, birds and lizards. Recently, she was able to rescue an abandoned pittie from a local rescue. Lava has been the best addition to her family. She thinks pet sitting is the best job in the world because it doesn’t feel like work at all!

Jackie

Jackie falls head over heels in love with every pet she encounters. Her compassion for our furry companions is immeasurable. Her dog, Pete, and cat, Eddie, are her world, and she goes above and beyond to ensure their well-being. Jackie has an exceptional attention to detail when it comes to caring for each pet’s unique needs.

Hannah

Hannah genuinely believes that pets are family and deserve to be treated as such. She has two cats that she absolutely adores. Growing up with cats, dogs, and many other pets, she has developed a calm demeanor that makes every pet feel very comfortable in her care.

Brenda

Brenda, an animal lover since childhood, has developed a special bond with dogs. With over two years of dog walking experience, she can handle dogs of all sizes. However, she’s also happy to shower your cats with affection. Brenda is a dog mom to a spoiled puggle named Lola, who has gotten used to sharing her mom with others because she knows there’s plenty of love to go around. The time Brenda spends with your furry babies is her favorite part of the day.

Cameron

Cameron shares her home with her two beloved pets—Verdell, a spirited and loyal dog, and Chessie, a calm, curious cat who loves quiet corners and sunshine. Animals have always been a central part of her life, and caring for them comes naturally. Whether it’s the daily routines, quiet companionship, or learning each pet’s quirks, Cameron genuinely enjoys the time spent with animals. She enjoys the routine of caring for pets, getting to know their personalities, and just being around them. Whether it’s a walk, a quiet hangout, or figuring out what makes each animal feel comfortable, it’s something she really enjoys.

Brigid

Brigid is a fan of all furry friends, but she has quite the soft spot for dogs. And although she doesn't have a doggo at home right now, she can't wait for the day she gets to rescue one from a local shelter. And in the meantime, she loves caring for and walking others' dogs as if they're her own! It feels like a genuine treat to get to know each dog and cat that crosses her path, and she can't believe that hanging out with adorable animals is her job!

Meredith

Meredith grew up with dogs, and her family has always had at least one in their family. She has been dog-sitting for people around her neighborhood since she was in middle school, and when she moved to Pittsburgh in August for graduate school, she knew walking dogs would be both a rewarding and fun job. She loves getting to hang out with so many different personalities every day, none of which fail to make her laugh! Meredith doesn't currently have a dog of her own, but she is a step-mom to an adorable tabby named Gus.
