Andrea

Owner

Andrea created her dream job and started Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC in 2005. Her passion for animals started as a young girl. Her and her family had many different dogs, cats and other pets throughout the years. She understands that our pets are family members, so she makes sure her staff shares the same values. Andrea’s combined experience in the areas of animal care, customer service and administration have made Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC a trusted company you can count on.

Kim

Kim has been a valuable part of Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers since 2009. She adores all animals but has a special love for dogs. She enjoys getting to know each pet and their unique personalities. She also likes getting to know clients and helping them with whatever is needed. She loves that everyday is an adventure and no two days are the same. Her daughters enjoy looking at the pictures from the day, and say they want to be pet sitters too!

Kara

Kara is a fellow Pittsburgh native and has a true passion for pets. She truly understands the companionship that our four-legged friends can provide to us humans and she brings a level of care and love to your furbabies that she does for her own. Kara has had a diverse career, working as a teacher, social worker, and early intervention specialist for new parents of children with hearing loss. When she's not helping others, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family of six, including her two chihuahuas and "Boo Boo" the cat. Kara's lifelong interest in animal care is evident in her interactions with your loving pets. She will treat them with the same love and care that she gives to her own furry companions.

Lauren

Lauren has been a pet lover as long as she can remember. Growing up her family had it all, dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, birds and lizards. Recently, she was able to rescue an abandoned pittie from a local rescue. Lava has been the best addition to her family. She thinks pet sitting is the best job in the world because it doesn’t feel like work at all!
