Andrea created her dream job and started Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC in 2005. Her passion for animals started as a young girl. Her and her family had many different dogs, cats and other pets throughout the years. She understands that our pets are family members, so she makes sure her staff shares the same values. Andrea’s combined experience in the areas of animal care, customer service and administration have made Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers LLC a trusted company you can count on.

Kim has been a valuable part of Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers for almost 12 years. She adores all animals but has a special love for dogs. She enjoys getting to know each pet and their unique personalities. She also likes getting to know clients and helping them with whatever is needed. She loves that everyday is an adventure and no two days are the same. Her daughters enjoy looking at the pictures from the day, and say they want to be pet sitters too!

Kaleigh has always loved pets. She started her work with animals at a young age, volunteering at a local humane society throughout her Jr. High and High School years. Not only does she love spending time with animals but she also enjoys painting them! She creates custom pet portraits and has enjoyed working for Steel City Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers for two years.

Rae started her pet care career in high school, where she had a small dog walking business in her main hometown. After moving to Pittsburgh, Rae spent almost 3 years as shift lead at a local doggy daycare. During that time, she got Pet First Aid Certified and trained to work with dogs with behavioral problems at Humane Animal Rescue, the shelter she walked pups at every week. While working for Steel City Pet Sitters, Rae has gotten certified as a dog trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy. During this course, she polished the positive reinforcement skills learned through years of self-education. Rae is an animal behavior and care nerd that is constantly learning as much as possible through books, courses, podcasts, blogs, and of course hands-on experience with companion animals! She has a love of working with "difficult dogs" and believes effective training is less about control and more about communication

Sara is a pet owner and animal lover! She has had dogs and cats her whole life. Currently, she has a three year old French bulldog, Luna who is her sidekick and shadow wherever she goes. They love their time together snuggling, playing and going for walks. Luna is like her child, and she spoils her any way she can. Sara believes that “Animals are sentient, intelligent, perceptive, funny and entertaining. We owe them a duty of care as we do to children.” - Michael Morpurgo
